Sports injuries & musculoskeletal problems
Dr Murthy has a special interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is able to diagnose and treat most injuries. We also have links to many sports physicians and can easily refer complicated cases for further specialist assessment. We also have a visiting Sports Medicine Doctor, Dr Jonathan Korgaonkar, who is currently a member of the medical team for the premier league football club West Ham United and is available for consultations.
Joint injections
We are able to offer steroid injections to shoulders, knees and elbows to help manage pain and discomfort. These will only be considered after a consultation with our doctor who will assess to see whether this is indicated.
The steroid joint injections can be used to treat pain in joints and to help increase movement and reduce pain.
